Clementine was a major character throughout Telltale's episodic Walking Dead video game, serving as the deuteragonist of Seasons 1 and 3, as well as the main protagonist of Seasons 2 and 4. Clementine is back on the road, looking to put her traumatic past behind her and forge new path all her own. You have AJ, family, friends, romance, safety, survival, a future, food, water and a life amongst a world where none of that exists anymore. How they can write her to abandon everything to search for happiness is honestly some Riverdale type bullshit.
